Healthy eating habits, Lemon water, and health tips to prevent/ treat cancer

Health is wealth, and one of the best ways to stay in tip-top condition is by sticking to healthy natural wholesome dietary habits. There are also so much health benefits derivable from the good old ‘stinging’ citrus fruit – Lemon. According to nutritional health expert and medical expert with the Osh State Medical University in Moscow, Russia, Dr. Guruprasad Reddy B V, Lemon water is able to stave off cancer if you make a habit of it.


Drinking hot lemon water on a regular basis is capable of keeping you free of all forms of cancer, he says. Remember – do not add sugar with it. You must have also heard of cold lemon water; but you should understand that for this purpose, hot lemon water is more beneficial than cold lemon water.

Hot lemon water can sustain your health and make you live longer! Hot lemon water kills cancer cells according to recent studies. And so you may wish to make a daily habit of adding hot water to 2-3 slices of lemon and drinking it up. The bitterness in hot lemon water is about the best substance available to kill off cancer cells, or prevent cancer. But cold lemon water as good as it is, only has vitamin C, and no cancer prevention power. And so, hot lemon water can control cancer tumour growth as clinical tests have proven hot lemon water works.

Dr. Reddy says it is good to note that “this type of Lemon extract treatment will only destroy the malignant cells; it does not affect healthy cells.” Citric acid and lemon polyphenol present in lemon juice can also aid in reducing high blood pressure, effective prevention of deep vein thrombosis, improve blood circulation, as well as reduce blood clots.

Both yellow and purple sweet potatoes experts also say - have good cancer prevention properties. Taking late night dinner often can increase the chance of stomach cancer, so reduce this habit as much as you can. Also, cooked tomato has better healing properties than the raw ones.

Don't eat tomato with empty stomach. Also for your stomach’s sake and more, it is important you drink a glass of plain water every morning before food, to prevent gall bladder stones.
Do not eat food 3 hours before bed time if you can afford it; also, after 5 pm, ensure to eat less. Drink less liquor or avoid alcoholic beverages completely; most of the time they offer no nutritional benefits, and are capable instead of causing diabetes and hypertension. Also, do not eat toast bread when it is hot and straight from the oven or toaster, and do not charge your hand-phone or any device next to you when you are sleeping.

Remember always to drink 10 glasses of water a day to prevent bladder cancer – especially for the average adult; you actually need to drink more water in the day time and less at night. Still on ‘drinking’, do not drink more than 2 cups of coffee a day no matter how enticing the taste or aroma; it may cause insomnia and gastric problems for you.

Too much of oily food is dangerous to your health; you are better advised to consume less of it. It takes between 5-7 hours to digest them, and they will usually make you feel tired. Very importantly, there are certain types of food that makes you happy. They are in the group of - banana, grapefruit, spinach, pumpkin and peach, etc.

Sleeping less than 8 hours a day can deteriorate your brain function, according to expert studies. Taking Afternoon rest for half an hour may help you to maintain your youthful look; adequate sleep is therefore highly therapeutic.
