The importance of Exercise and physical activity before and during Pregnancy

Many at times pregnant women are not encouraged to do anything much of physical activities. In as much as it is not in the best interest of anybody to have expectant mothers do ‘strenuous’ work, it is not totally ideal to discourage them from embarking on their day-to-day normal activities. Experts say that even in addition to their daily routine, pregnant women should also embark on some form of regular exercise or the other.

Healthy feeding for men and the importance of wholesome, nourishing foods

In his book In Defense of Food, Michael Pollan offers three simple, easy-to-remember “rules” for eating: 1. Eat food, 2. Not too much, 3. Mostly plants. Eating food should not be aimed at merely filling your stomach – it is more than that regular daily routine we think it is. Food helps you to fight diseases and stay healthy, strong, and look even younger. Thus how you eat as a man is what will predict or explain how you are bound to age.

Water as the source of life; its importance to the health of men

Health experts would normally recommend you drink 8 to 10 glasses of water a day - to help your body's biological processes, especially carrying nutrients to cells, and for the purpose of getting rid of wastes from your body. The US Institute of Medicine (IOM) urges men to drink roughly 3.7 litres (about 16 cups) of water a day, while women are to consume 2.7 litres (about 12 cups) of water daily.
